I would not mind more words about Sylvie and Natasha, if you have them in you. Otherwise, I will just repeat they're fun.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
Yeah! I think Sylvie sees something kindred in Natasha. They're both people who have had their childhoods stolen from them, that have had to scrape bite and claw to survive. Natasha has done this differently than Sylvie has, who has gone more feral while Natasha has something regal about her that Sylvie has never been able to reclaim
Vαɾιαɳƚ
which is interesting! Having been adopted into a royal family from what is a royal family to becoming a street urchin essentially, vs Natasha who was bought from her mother and raised as a killer.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
that Natasha would come out more elegant and refined than Sylvie did.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
BUT there's still that wild child survivor under both of them that they connect to each other I think. Natasha is just enough game to let Sylvie lead her into trouble, to play off her jokes and make her feel comfortable in her presence. Which is a challenge as Sylvie is so spiky!
Vαɾιαɳƚ
but...sylvie also doesnt see Natasha as any kind of threat. This could bite her in the ass.

looool
vex appeal
Not impossible
vex appeal
(Natasha is just better at keeping her feral under wraps. At least until she has to feed herself. Secretly feral. Disguised as poised.)
Vαɾιαɳƚ
She's much better at that act, but Sylvie hasn't had to act
Vαɾιαɳƚ
she's just had to be invisible
vex appeal
Yeah, exactly.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
there's a huge difference between having to live consecutively and continue connections and just living in the moment forever
Vαɾιαɳƚ
If she had to she may be better at it
vex appeal
Yeah! I was just thinking how Sylvie has obviously been in this life or death situation as far as her life style goes
vex appeal
BUT
vex appeal
She's also kind of lived without any interpersonal consequences because everyone dies in a few days
Vαɾιαɳƚ
yup if she pissed someone off or ruined an interaction
Vαɾιαɳƚ
wouldnt matter, she starts back over soon anyway
vex appeal
That's definitely going to do things to your people skills
Vαɾιαɳƚ
yeah it's a sad thing on so many ways because like, not being able to even see recognition in the eyes of one person ever
Vαɾιαɳƚ
not being able to lean on anyone, even have casual connections
Vαɾιαɳƚ
but at the same time no consequences, nothing matters in these times
Vαɾιαɳƚ
it's a fucked up way to live hahahah
vex appeal
It's definitely sad
Vαɾιαɳƚ
and then the one person she did have a connection with up and betrays her in the end even if it was because he wanted her to be ok. so she has to send him away. And really thinks she HAS to do it because what is the other option? become the very thing she has fought against this entire time?
Vαɾιαɳƚ
she's been trying not to think about that at all in penance and it's still kind of eating her alive
Vαɾιαɳƚ
So Natasha is nice because their relationship so far is very casual. There's connection but its not... deep yet, just passing enjoyment of eachother's company and very surface level
vex appeal
That absolutely makes sense.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
though that may change....
Vαɾιαɳƚ
every time she sees Loki it tears at her stomach and she's particulary snappy with him because of it.
vex appeal
That sounds like it'll come to a head at some point. Probably doesn't help that he doesn't know her.
Vαɾιαɳƚ
I think he thinks she’s interested in Thor which is particularly funny
Vαɾιαɳƚ
She is but not like that
Vαɾιαɳƚ
Anyway Nat is a lot of fun and he’s going to enjoy seeing how long it takes her to figure out he’s Sylvie in this other thread too
vex appeal
