some fucking about with the mic gain, some fucking about with the angle of the physical mic and what not, some fucking about with Twitch Studio settings (namely turning every audio feature in it OFF lmao) and then turning noise suppression on max with RTX Voice seems to have worked out in the end. Maybe.
