There’s the 2D animated continuation of the old He-Man by Kevin Smith, called Masters of the Universe: Revelation, the target audience of which seems to be 30-45 year olds

And there’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2021) which is 3D animated and seems pointed more at a young teen demographic

He-man, Teela, Duncan (Man-at-Arms, though I don’t know if the show will call him that yet), and Kras (gender-swapped Ram Man) all seem to be like 15, I think?

Adam has amnesia of his childhood and has been raised in the Tiger Tribe, with Kras becoming his childhood best friend

Cringer is also from the Tiger Tribe, but is not a coward at all. He was declawed by the bad guys and so he wants to fight the good fight but has no claws.

Teela, who was likely in the same incident as Adam I’m guessing, also doesn’t remember her young childhood, but Evillyn seems to have an idea of who she is an took her to raise as her apprentice

So Teela, instead of being a warrior who is suspicious of magic, is a young sorceress (and the intro shows her wearing basically the Sorceress outfit from the original show, even though she’s not there yet by where I’m at in episode 2)

Uhm Skeletor straight up murders a whole bunch of people in his first appearance but I guess it’s okay because there was no blood?

I feel like it’s a poor market strategy decision for Netflix to air another He-Man before they’ve even finished with the Kevin Smith one

It’s just confusing because now I have to guess which one if someone says “Netflix He-Man 2021”

I’ll probably watch it all, it’s a light hearted fun thing so far.

Apparently the girl version of Ram Man is called Ram Ma’am. That’s exactly the level of cheesy I want from a He-Man cartoon

It’s even better than the original because it actually rhymes

Duncan is in fact still Man at Arms and Cringer is still Battle Cat, while Teela is this series’s Sorceress, with the implication that the original Sorceress is dead and also was Teela’s mom (like in the original)

They ALL got a magical girl transformation sequence. I’m hoping that the sequence is shorter in the future because the first time it, uh, padded out for a while
