[RL] Things that give me a sliver of hope for humanity: a group of old rural white guys complaining about the cancer that is fox News and Facebook, culminating in the quotes "if Facebook shut down for a week everyone would get vaccinated" and "fox news is the worst thing to happen to this country"

(I am assuming they mean modern history and not the whole of it)

This is not the group you expect to hear this from

hope for the world there is that they impart that wisdom to their children and grandchildren

right?

and for the record I'm not like "these brave white men are heroes 🥲" and more "I can't believe there are even 4 old white locals that aren't completely horrible people"

because the locals in this town are something else
