i guess i'm playing fallout 4 again. at the end of the day i just want to shoot things and build forts ijs

i'm playing a male character for the first time in over 9000+ playthroughs

i recently played new vegas as a male character, which was the first time i ever played a man in.... probably all of my rpg history

it was actually really fun because i had a really strong sense of the character in my head

so i thought i'd give it a try with fo4 just to mix things up

it was harder with fo4 because they start you off as having a spouse and a kid and the whole story is designed around trying to find your kid, so that really limits the character you can create, at least in terms of back story as opposed to the other fallout mcs who are more blank slates

but i made it work

because forts

and shooting things

also in fo4 the main character is voiced, so it's weird creating new female characters since they all SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME. so hopefully having the male voice acting will lend some newness to the old game.
