Maybe they have a little weekly meet up where he brings his shirts where he's ripped the buttons off his shirts. Maybe it started as she noticed a button had come off his costume as he walked her home that Halloween night, he asked if she could help with more, then he asked to be taught, and now it's just a fun excuse to meet up and chat together

And now he wants to master a new skill. She was so good at teaching him how to sew buttons back on that now he wants to learn how to bake bread!

Which I think could then lead into some threads later on. Like Tim remembering the things she taught him and then later asking for a refresher course or how much yeast goes into bread again?

Just to show he remembers the AU and he's being serious in his effort to be better than what he was and treat her like he would a friend and not a monster
