[RL/Food Delivery] So the delivery of my food was 40 minutes late because apparently the restaurant was a dick to the driver and the driver got changed resulting in the delay.

I like this restaurant and they offer unique food, but they are getting a bad review for this because wtf man

it's not the new driver's fault so I'm not going to ding him for that

I'm willing to bet the food isn't even hot anymore

(like it usually takes a lot for me to give a bad review, most of the time I leave good reviews because I know it helps these places out)

Didn't get the chance to review but sent a help request with my version of events. I don't expect a refund but I do expect them to talk to the restaurant because wow

like I'd understand the delay if it was busy, that happens. There's no reason this should have happened.

well, they refunded my order (but not the tip which I'm thankful for because don't punish the driver for the restaurant's fuck up) and fingers crossed the restaurant was informed because that really shouldn't have happened

... actually that's probably why they refunded me. because there was some bullshit revolving around the delay

wow, at least you got refunded and the driver got to keep their tip.
