I bought some little beaded Christmas angel things to put into Christmas cards. Showed my mum and she pulled a face. Thought she didn't like them, but nope, she told me, and I quote "I don't think people would appreciate it. They'll just throw them in the bin.". I have no idea why she'd think that!

Same! I just wanted to put something cute in the cards and I saw them and thought they looked nice! I don't know why she was so grumpy about it... I thought maybe she thought it was for religious reasons? But I'm not religious! You don't have to believe in God to find a little bead angel cute!

A friend of mine taught me how to make little boxes out of Christmas cards and I try to do those with old ones because I get the 'tossing card guilt' thing too
