The USGS isn't even recording the volcanic earthquakes.

There were some signs of this happening a week ago already, so people got evacuated.

Sure, most volcanos do have ramp-up activity.

Problem is that even with all the signs visible it's hard to stick a firm date and direction on it. The only thing you can do is inform people to be ready for evacuation on short: notice.

I'm wondering what it's going to take to get people to evac their pets with them, though. Some woman said something about leaving in a panic, and my stomach has been churning ever since I read it.

If I had a pet I'd never leave it back.
