Today I learned that rotten eggs really smell like rotten eggs. They are also pressurized in their little shells and squirt all over your clothes when you attempt to crack them.

Ewww. I have a vague memory of stepping on a rotten Easter egg with my bare feet, when I was a kid. Apparently it was one we never found on a hunt....

Our rotten egg was hard boiled, indeed! But it sat under a bush in a hot California back yard for a couple of months.

Protein rots like nothing else, I swear.
