So, a while back, some people decided to fix the issues of Sonic '06 and make it not shit. This vid contains the progress made towards that end, including every Sonic and Shadow stage from the original. I've yet to view it, as it's nearly 2 hours long, but the proof of concept I've seen before showed promise.
