there's so many common elements in the stories of adults with undiagnosed ADHD, like, i've never heard an account of someone learning what was wrong with them and said "nah, can't relate to that one"
the details are different but we all have had basically the same experience
the part where they talk about being like "what? no, i don't lose important things like my wallet or my keys--....because i always put them in the same place every time, because if i didn't, i would lose them...."
all the subtle little things like, finally getting around to doing something but doing it wrong in a way you'll have to deal with later (taping over the bolts on the skateboard), having to come back immediately after walking out the door because you forgot something, repeatedly forgetting where you were in your train of thought and having to start over
the details are different but we all have had basically the same experience
