jesus christ, my oldest DWRP journal is probably a tie between my Anna Lin and my Joshua Preston, both from fucking Bliss Stage.

I was playing Anna during the Exodus... and playing her as my first character in Planeocracy, palling around with Ran Yakumo, making her my oldest LJRP journal as well.

I feel a little that that's time wasted, but on reflection, there are two reasons that's not so and it's time well spent:

first, the BSVN is why I got good at writing, and I probably couldn't knock it out with I/O the way I do without having stumbled over the BSVN for as long as Sara Smith has been alive in the backstory

and second, I wouldn't have met Quinn, Liana, Nerdo, and so very many others if I hadn't played those characters in Planeo

and I would be a different person who I'd probably like a lot less without them

I liked Anna back in the day.

Sometimes we learn and grow into ourselves through our fandom of objectively cringey fiction

BS is its own thing but I for one am not prepared to defend any of my tastes, especially ones I had in the 00s
