oooh, really? my general solution has been 50/50 wool/silk. I tried working with bamboo and while I like the stitch definition you get, I don't like how slippery it is.

i spun with this one tree fiber... it wasn't bamboo and i forget what it is

there's also rabbit fur fiber but charlie doesn't have enough fur for that

alpaca is really nice! all the dying I've done was with alpaca. and it still made my hands feel sort of sad, but it was still nice to work with.
