I believe its the gaunlet

I don't know any technical details but it was made to hold the infinity stones so team avengers could do a snap of their own

I'm not sure if it's something the doctor would recognize or understand by looking at it but maybe it's something you could pm the player and ask what the sonic screwdriver might pick up as far as details go?
