[rp] You ever tempted to play a character not because they ARE interesting but because they COULD be?

That is how I feel about....well, a lot of characters, but definitely how i feel about Jesse from Control?

there was one time i spent a whole plurk thinking about how i could play kirei kotomine from very early in fate zero and develop him down a whole different path from 'lolsadist'

I love the world SO much, and there's the groundwork to something really interesting there isn't quite as much as I usually want when playing a character

BUT there's something fun about exploring what is there and fleshing that out too
