Secondlife and Daz/poser is the same. I think there are many factors involved as to why. Something that is never mentioned as a reason is greater fashion options. Female characters basically have zero limits on how they can look other than keeping private parts (barely) covered. Sexy, sporty, babyish, tomboy, nerdy, there are no limits.

I mix it up a lot. Probably close to 50/50, as I don't think I play any games that offer non-binary.

But game male fashion is limited. Mostly it's "look dangerous and intimidating." It's a pet peeve of mine. What if male characters could as interesting & varied as female characters? Would it effect game gender preference?

DevinVaughn : its a peeve of mine too.. .as someone who considers herself nonbinary in all worlds, i am stuck with a mostly female presentation in sl because i am unable to find much for male stuff... or even a masculine chest on a female body (vtech, maitreya flat) sure petite gets a lot but that's still breasts and sometimes that's not what i want

and in mmo's i'm basically trapped all together because most mmo's are male or female, no inbetween unless its a game i can mod so i can be different on my screen
