new Gunby glam as I talk about tanking at 3 AM

so I recently got all of the tank mounts and am aiming for the final titles next

anyway I have a new appreciation of Paladin now that I realize it's like Black Mage for me

I like the full level 80 kit a lot

it's a little less extreme because with BLM I'm like "I don't want to play this in any content lower than 80" but I enjoy playing PLD less when I don't have instant cast spells and no confiteor

anyway with the influx of new people i do feel a lot of "man it's a good thing I'm on PLD today"

I've sure had to do a lot of blue healing and soloing the last 15-20% of endbosses these past couple weeks

my tank DPS has also seen a good improvement and not just because i've been able to upgrade gear (still need a few more accessories from E9S and hands from E10S) it's nowhere near optimized, but has seen a noticeable jump

need to smack dummies around and actually optimize rotations

will practice GNB tomorrow

also maybe do another E9S farm for the accessories I'm missing

cries i wish my static wasn't dead (ok we're technically on hiatus but I highly, highly doubt we're going to reform without changing at least half the roster)

me: i'm going to do some black mage practice for fun
my party: the tank is new and just barely meets the ilevel requirement and sucks at cooldowns, the other dps keeps dcing, the healer kind of just randomly dies for reasons i cannot discern

had a very good dungeon run with some absolute gamers after that at least
