so I'm making gnocci
and I have some marinated goat cheese cubes that I need to marsh up with pesto to be the sauce

and instead of dirtying a wholeass bowl for that just pour out most of the oil, replace with the pesto, marsh in the jar!

that way if there's any left (and I bet there will be) I can just put the lid back on and use it for toast or matersammich later!
