[garage kittens] they're getting more amenable to petting!

I've been trying to pet them a little every time I put food down, and when I fed them last night (early this morning) before going to bed, even tux didn't hiss at me when I gave pettins!

I almost got to scritch behind the ears!

also dad has started feeding them too lmao. he just can't hold out when the three of them are lined up like little ducklings going miiiiii at him.

if one of them forges an undying bond with Neffie, I may have to insist, but otherwise I'm content to just be a stepping stone on their way to a happy forever home

OKAY. Kitten food and some new toys have been purchased and the small cat condo in the garage has been moved into the crate. I still need to wipe the crate bars clean of the last of the dust and whatnot, and empty the garage litterbox and put that in.

I think I'll wait until I've captured them to do that last bit, I don't want to spook them more than they're already spooked

Neffie is like, ??? mother?? a large box has appeared with toys inside, and yet I cannot go in???

anyway once we have the kittens safely inside, we can start trying to trap mama
