In later WHM quests you deal with more established Padjals and it's this vast and terrible revelation to them that they should maybe get off their asses and do something.

I know that'll get harder when I start getting into higher levels and the job expands to 'keep the whole party alive but especially the tank, against increasing amounts of bullshit', but that was... relaxing
i started with sch which is still extremely solid but i'm finding whm has more raw heal capacity vs sch's shielding, so it's a matter of playstyle/taste
Yeah, Astro's being reworked into a more straightforward regen healer to make room for Sage being a shield healer, and Scholar is. Maybe someday we'll get an expansion where they don't completely reinvent the pet jobs, but EW is not that expansion.
the high summoner's gear doesn't look as nice on roegadames as it does on anyone else but on the other hand maybe I'll feel differently wearing it as an actual healer
tank wasn't paying attention to mechanics, and I tried to tell the party about the Hole so they could get the mapping the realm cheevo, even specifically saying "before you go to waverider gate, follow me"
in fairness, I DID fuck up and do a pull by mistake (because I was so used to lagging that I had assumed I just wasn't seeing the party ahead of me - got myself killed and that got the tank killed), but it's not like anybody was talking before that
first to see if the male models have ANY options for facial hair that don't look pasted on (surprisingly, yes, there's a couple beards on the scruffy side and two of the faces have the option for really magnificent muttonchops)
