idk about "authentic" but those chains are the popular chains here and everyone knows about them hahaha but the bakery yes. sample all the goodies. tita marla is very friendly and fun to talk to (you can call her tita, it means auntie and here we call people that even if we're not related haha)
but yeah in 2019 mom and i were planning a trip there in 2021. i was taking her up there because i like chicago a lot LMAO and she has to visit tita marla in MN hahaha
i'm not a huge fan of jollibee either but it's the closest those out there can experience our food HAHA but yeah i think there's just something that's lacking from overseas jollibee idk
i was flabbergasted that a chickenjoy meal (back in 2015) was $5 in cali (1 pc chicken plus soda) and here that was like... a little over 100 pesos so $2+ hahaha
there was apparently a Filipino place that opened up downtown recently but I haven't had a chance to go and maybe it was just a pop-up thing to begin with
