this is another really good example of how hard it is to navigate the sphere too, because RA is a game with basically an entirely new development team, and one of the most women-led games in the AAA market. 3/5 main writers were women, including both the senior and the lead, as well as many of the lead animators who were really vocal

LOTS OF QUEERS AND WOMEN AND QUEER WOMEN. And i think that like, by and large, they made the game they wanted to make, it really seems like they fought super hard and won many of their battles. It feels very much like it was made FOR women and queers lmfao

Yep, which is kind of where talking becomes important because frankly, these companies DO fear shame. And a increasing awareness and vocalness about this stuff incentivizes them to start cleaning house
