Dead Mentors
[meme] It's S-word Sunday and my OC's are easier to ask about than ever now that I have a Toyhouse!
Dead Mentors
G'raha is also eligible for questions, and tbh they need not even be S-word topics, I just want to talk about my precious children.

Some of your OCs and their thoughts on swords.

As I don't know them all, I'm going to count on you to pick out the interesting responses.

Which ones like sushi?

I ended up not having a work assignment that left me with a lot of phone time but now that I am home and have slept a little, it's time for answers

: Aisthota has two classes that use swords leveled: Red Mage, which uses thin swords like rapiers and their ilk, and Paladin, which uses the kind of sword and shield combo you'd probably expect from a Paladin. Red Mage is her main class, but she actually learned Paladin before picking it up,

and that influences her Red Mage swordplay. Her sword strikes are heavier than the typical Red Mage style.

Lady uses lighter swords as well, but that's because the sword is not her real weapon, exactly. The nature of the Accursed is that they're difficult to damage with conventional weapons, so when Lady is fighting them with a sword, what she is actually doing is using her power to create barriers of

Odic Force to wrap the sword in a barrier and hit her foes with that.

(Pinging quinn2win real quick for that information about Lady's fighting style; important info to know when they eventually have to build her as an enemy.)

Shimmer Butterfly and Tomato both use swords, but there's nothing particularly interesting about how they do so, at least not that I've thought of yet.
Dead Mentors
And of the rest, I think the only one with any noteworthy thoughts on them is that Pratus uses an axe instead because it has practical non-combat uses and swords don't.
