[Pokémon] Learning from defeat.
Paldeahaveadime
First plan completely dissasembled by a Gengar with a high-accuracy Hypnosis
Paldeahaveadime
Second major matchup stalled out against a Toxipel that controlled the pacing of the entire fight through high defense, tick damage, and protection
Paldeahaveadime
(they were setting a dodge tank attempt with Chansey and likely weren't counting on me to OHKO it with a Dynamax normal but eh)
Paldeahaveadime
Overall I suck and need to learn to think two moves ahead. Then four.
Paldeahaveadime
Also none of my team have any synergy to speak of and the single typing is a gross disadvantage.
Paldeahaveadime
Not that I'm ditching my grass types, because hell no. Just that the inbetween matchup against a Kyogre with an ice beam had "undoing" written all over it
Paldeahaveadime
Upside is I haven't actually felt like this since that time I decided to stop sucking at FPSs
Paldeahaveadime
Have to remember to actually record my next bout for review
