Good news: my car will not need the engine replacement!

It wouldn't have cost me anything either way but it's still a huge relief to know that my car is safe

I have been so incredibly lucky with this car since I bought her

(it was under recall for a potential issue with the piston oil ring that, if it was an issue, would have led to increased oil consumption and engine damage at best, an engine fire at worst)
