i miss... lan parties

hauling your whole fucking computer rig to somebody's house

passing around quake and warcraft on a usb stick to copy

fiddling with the lan router and ethernet cables

playing the jankiest wc3 mods and quake rocket tag and other bullshit together

ordering pizza and getting a big 24 case of mountain dews

tapping a guy up to a vent with duct tape to make room

yesss LAN parties omg ;;

While I don't miss a lot of the complications of LAN parties, I do miss a lot of its culture and am happy some events still do that
