[HS] Thinking about the extremely weird relationship between Friendsim and Act 2 canon, particularly in Tyzias's case.
lily!
There's this certain sense of plausible deniability in what a lot of Tyzias does in Act 2. It's probable that she came up with the idea of a "defense" on her own, and that she just saw the situation with the jades as a good idea to test it out.
lily!
But...
lily!
The thing is, in her friendsim, she has a whole conversation with the MSPA Reader about Earth's justice system and how she wants to improve things and how the way humans do it may not be IDEAL it's better than what the trolls have now, and. gestures at the trial
lily!
What's more, in Daraya's good end, MSPA Reader ends up introducing the two of them and Tyzias has a brief debate with Daraya about where to channel her anger (speaking of which reminds me I need to replay that bit, it's really important) before they eventually become fast friends and agree to help each other out.
lily!
And it's specifically DARAYA who's being blamed in the trial.
lily!
You could argue that none of the people aboard the train recognize a human, but, also, the MSPA Reader explicitly isn't human anyways.
lily!
On the other hand, none of them comment on seeing an alien anywhere.
lily!
The friendsims really are in the realm of dubious canonicity in this way and it REALLY comes through in the trial segment.
