So I got a call on a private number (tip off 1)

And supposedly I should have gotten mail or something about winning prior to this call but this is the first ive heard about (Tip off 2)

So i'd like to comment before i say more that I don't believe any of this to be true rofl

And then I said If this is true, to send me that mail or something and they should have my information if I truly won the PCH shit to verify that this is not a scam

He then told me that I had to do something before claiming it (Tip off 3)

And he started listing off various places like Walgreens ect. and then he asked what kind of card i had rofl I kept it vague and just said Debit (but i still feel like that was a bit too much yet so w.e. i guess it's done now)

And then he asked what my bank was and I said I don't believe this for a second to be a legitimate claim and that if I truly won, you'd know this stuff already. (The cc maybe not but im not buying it)

And then he said there were taxes that would have to be paid in order to get it (Tip off 4)

Which realistically for a giveaway what are the chances of that rofl

And he said it was somewhere in 4k I'd have to pay in taxes in order to recieve it and when I said I could not (and would not) pay for that, he immediately hung up without a "good bye" or "okay, have a good day"

Yeah Publisher's Clearing House is a legit sweepstakes but they do things a certain way because they know about the scammers. I'm glad they let people know how they're company actually works.
