FF9 was the first FF I played so it's got a place in my heart

I actually couldn't get into 8 or 7 bc it wasn't like...fantasy enough

I loved FFIX, but the story isn't really that deep.

Plus the FFIX designs are pretty much tailor-made for an animated series? And considering the kinds of shows that've come out lately for the demographic they appear to be aiming for I don't think they'll need to change much if anything about it.
