Character dads

Kairi: We know pretty much nil about the DI trio's parents. Her birth family are quite dead after the fall of Radiant Garden, but her adopted dad is the mayor of the Islands and he took her in and treated her very well, so there's that!

At least I think the mayor was implied to be male. Could be her adopted mom actually? I'm not sure.

One: No father here! She was created by a horrible world-destroying eldritch abomination in the form of a flower.

And as a result was given awesome superpowers but kinda cursed from birth to lose control of herself eventually and become a world-destroying monstrosity.

So that sucks.

Knight: The Pale King is the Worst Father. The absolute worst.

He had like millions of kids and then he just tried to turn them all into Void vessels and threw away all the ones he didn't think measured up.

Which was all of them but one.

And this was all to solve a problem he'd created in the first place by being a fucking colonizer.

So yeah, he's the worst. Booo

Summer: We never learn anything about her parents, to the best of my knowledge. RWBY more or less stops with her generation except for the likes of Oz and Salem, and occasional outliers like Maria.

Irisviel: Goddamn Acht. He's an asshole and created her solely to house the Grail. Then he forced her daughter into the same role even though there was absolutely no way that would have worked. He's awful.
