God Talk related/adjacent; anyone wanna brainstorm ideas for methods of ranking up besides a ritual sacrifices or nabbing a convert? like I know there's ways, but my brain wipes itself whenever I try to contemplate them.

I wanna get RS more involved with the Fog, and I keep just not being sure how to, on an ooc-level :|a

RS specifically is like, in the one camp of "murder is fine and dandy and can be fun, but you don't ritually sacrifice people to gods, that's one of my very few hard no's,"

look RS has gotta drink that kool-aid a little. the question is...how artsy do you want to get? Lol. ritual sacrificing is off the table BUT. He could just speak the good word and do something subjectively useful, like idk. make a booth. "The Fog God is Better Than Nothing. Change My Mind"

his big thing with the Fog is how she's a chaos-god, and all of what "chaos" entails to his mind. hmmmm.

and he actively likes the tage, who've started veering towards "finding the arrival location of the newest ~Chosen Ones~" so like.....

ok so admittedly Noa -did- sacrifice someone to get his tier three, it was kind of a mess like that,

That is not, of course, the only method, there's a few ways

now all of them are generally considered difficult but the thing is, cumulation ALSO works toward a tier up in this case

i can grab some notes if you want. i do think it would be more useful to have suggestions listed on the god boon page but thats for the future . for now

so for example Reira actually -stole fog from Dyster itself- (these kinds of methods are generally ineffective now, because the realms have some beefed security)

a lot of tier 3 ups are also player plots when they aren't things like sacrifice in a god's honor; heck that was how Judai priest tiered, he fiddled with the battle cube to leech power for the Fog, triggering a sort of...monster meld event

-all the fog stuff here tends towards “do something you/she wants without caring about the consequences.” stuff along that line, focusing mainly on direct action.
-Do something that helps the monsters in the world! Beat up hunters and save your pals. Engage in vice, rob a bank, publish monster propaganda, etc

its all about subterfuge and stealth, revaling peoples secrets, spreading false information, getting humans to work against the fog, etc

maybe even expanding upon technological infrastructure

anyways i dont know why these points arent on the boon page. i think people need more direction besides "just do smth lol"
