[Alphys] Thinkin' about...new terrarium for her!!

I'm still trying to get a final quote from the place I'm commissioning to build the terrarium, but it should be a 4x2x2 PVC terrarium built into a cabinet, and then I'll have to assemble it myself after it's shipped

and asking to have the light fixtures built in so that those are there and just easy to swap out lights for! I also want to get temperature gauges built in on both the warm and cool sides

hopefully that should all work out with the lights inside the terrarium, but they said that PVC is good at keeping in heat

and I'm gonna paint the backdrop myself to look like Hotland/the Core/Alphys' lab, then send that so they can print it on the backdrop!

and I'm also seeing about commissioning a friend to make some interior stuff for me...namely a hide that looks like the lab exterior (it's a simple box so hopefully should be easy...just a matter of finding the right materials) and also a climbing ramp/basking spot to put on the warm end, again painted/themed to look appropriate to Hotland

I'm just trying to roughly estimate space...like, I also need room for food and water dishes (although honestly I never see her using her water dish...not unless she's sticking her foot in it while scrambling around. Wondering if maybe I should change up how she does water?)

and maybe an extra hammock; just want to make sure she has plenty of climbing space since she seems to like doing that

and then for substrate I want to get ceramic tiles cut for it; it sounds like that's the best option in terms of being easy to keep clean/disinfect, while also wearing down her nails and going with the rest of the decor

I mainly want to make sure her lights and temperatures are right since that seems the most important part, but if the place building the terrarium does this regularly for beardies, I imagine they'd know what's best in terms of placement and equipment for that!

this is probably all going to be very expensive since it's a ton of commissioning people for custom work, but ahhh I'm honestly excited for a bigger space that I can potentially make look very cool!

and if I make the space big enough while also being proper lights/heats/UVs, then it seems like it'd be a worthwhile investment for the monies!

I might move my bookcase around so that her terrarium is next to the TV stand instead of that; that way it's also closer to the outlet...

but yeah she's getting bigger and is starting to look a little cramped in her current space, so hopefully can get this all set up soon!
