[Dreams] Oh man, I wish if I was going to have a nightmare about a world ending event, one that made me sit bolt upright in bed, at my usual time for getting up for work that it happened on a work day.

It was such a fun dream at the start. Following around Neal from White Collar helping to track down a gang impersonating the Queen of England and saving a little girl's life.

Then somehow it shifted to me driving Nu and I to our friend's house for our Sunday game. As we were driving I noticed a large object in the sky and we were calmly discussing it. Nu said it was a large rock and I was like: huh, funny I don't remember seeing any reports about a close space object.

We went through a round about and I was able to get a glimpse of it before turning out of the roundabout and it going out of my view. I remarked about how fast it was going, but i wasn't worried. Surely if some world ending event was going on I would have heard something

For some reason we parked the car and got out to walk to a bus stop instead of just driving the rest of the way. I looked up as we started walking from the car and noticed it had gotten a lot closer to the ground.

That's a pretty cool dream.

"It's about to hit. I know we're kind of late, but I want to watch it fall out of view. I doubt we'll see something like this ever again." I clearly remember saying and Nu agreed so we stopped, turned around, and watched it streak across the sky thinking it would just keep sailing across the sky until it went out of out view

We were just commenting that it should hopefully hit the ocean as it was low and over Australia. So hopefully ocean. Just as I said: hopefully ocean it hit with such a loud BOOM

I felt my stomach drop and started shouting: oh shit... It hit something as a small explosion cloud started raising into the sky

I was just thinking: what do we do? Do we call someone, surely someone has already called someone. Do we rush over to help? No... Can't do that there is an ocean in the way.

As suddenly, yeah, we were at the edge of the ocean watching this happened.

We both stood there for a few seconds going: shit! Shit! Shit! What do we do?!

Wanting to help, but feeling helpless to do anything when suddenly another explosion happened that was so rough that other people gawking with us fell over and a giant mushroom cloud started to erupt into the sky.

I remember thinking: oh, shit. It has hit something. It has hit something really bad as I turned to run, screaming at Nu she had to run with me.

The fact that we should be standing next to my car was gone thanks to dream logic saying that although we had only taken a couple steps we were now very far from the car and would need to walk towards the explosion to go back to it.

So we started running past people standing with looks of horror on their faces. Some started running with us as we went past them. I remember one woman just saying over and over: this is it. This is the moment. Oh, God this is it, we're all done.

Nu was asking where we should go and all I could think was our friend was the closest. Get to them. Let them know. Figure things out from there

I had the thought of: I should call my mom if it didn't hit the USA and she's still alive. I should call my mom if the networks are still up and tell her I love her as the first bits of debris that was thrown into the air on impact started to rain down around us.

And the last thought I had as I woke up was: oh shit, the music is swelling. I can hear the music swelling over the sounds of people screaming and dying. We really are screwed. This isn't good music!!!

Then started to sit up in bed with the feeling lingering in my body of: MUST KEEP MOVING OR DIE

Which was a little awkward with the weighted blanket on top of me

But still! I was wide awake with the feeling of needing to GO GO GO! Would have been perfect if it was a work day and I didn't go to bed at 2am

Going to flop over now that the high has worn off and try to get a bit more sleep before the family Skype call in a couple hours

I still think that's an awesome dream. Sorry for the scare but awesome dream.

Now that it's not real it was kind of awesome in a terrifying; I hope it never really happens sort of way

Feels like being part of an action movie

Oof, that sounds rough

It was a bit like being in a disaster movie more than an action movie, but the action can be high in disaster films!

Disaster films are pretty high action too for most part.

Armageddon is still one of my faves. So yes!
