My iPad Air is pretty old by this point and it has suffered faster battery drains since iOS 13 and 14 made it worse.

I was considering getting an iPad mini, but I also remember that semiconducter chips don’t grow on trees and Taiwan has a bad case of most companies putting all their eggs in its basket, not to mention a bad drought that hit them last year.

Intel’s investors are probably regretting trying to get it into the outsourcing train when the pandemic made chip shortages much worse than the Tamagotchis did in the 1990’s.

Toyota on the other hand made a smart move in investing months worth of chips due to a typhoon beforehand.
