Time to switch off the news again. Tomorrow I’ll work on getting my second jab. It turns out one jab is only 33% effective against variant Delta (originating in India).

Most of the news is so toxic, I have refused to listen to it. Fauci lied about the virus several times to us as well as under oath. I don’t trust much of anything being published anymore

Not good news.

I’m going to do more prepping. I should make more space in my freezer for meat. Buy more Jell-o. I have 6 months’ worth of cat food, but only 3 months’ worth of kitty litter. I have about a year’s worth of rice and beans. I should get more ghee, flour, sugar. I’ll have to find out if I can get at least a half year’s worth of heart meds.

Air conditioner/humidifier, a few more pieces of furniture so I can put stuff away. A bed. Maybe some carpets. Vacuum cleaner. Laptop. TV.

Then I can hunker down.

This is how my family has survived more than 100 years of calamities. WWI, Spanish flu, WWII...

I’ll need soil and fertilizer for my houseplants... I should order a hydroponics system or two...

Toilet paper, mustn’t forget the toilet paper.

Oh, and chocolate.

I keep having flashbacks to scenes in World War Z. Especially the scene where zombies overrun Jerusalem.
