It does look cool and transformation reminds me of Cyber Formula xD

ooh it still follows the one and only thing I really liked in the Seed universe- the hero unit being a multirole fighter with different "packs"

Strike and Impulse I liked more than Freedom and Destiny because of those

You would probably like the Gundam F90, it had "Mission Packs" that cover almost every situation

I feel like the only really cool moment in Seed Destiny was when Shinn Asuka fucked over the Freedom using everything the Impulse can do.

iirc Kira's mind was mostly on protecting the Archangel and Shinn knew Kira's no-kill-just-disarm-them style so he's able to avoid getting the Impulse incapacitated.

So pretty much the fight is in Shinn's favor.

Shinn is actually the protagonist of that universe I liked the most, if I'm honest

oh, I also liked Dearka- but mostly because I also have a soft spot for the big fuckoff weapon-based mobile suits so the Buster Gundam was fun for me

Yeah OG SEED is better overall in writing and characters. Shinn changed to antagonist in 2nd half but the SRW games fixed him to the point that SEED DESTINY writer got pissed off.

Dearka is cool, too bad Miriallia dumped him. As for this manga, it's stated that the Eclipse Gundam was made in secret at CE72 (between SEED & SEED DESTINY) so probably
