gotta love how we're a few days from June, just earlier this week it was about 80 here, and yet when I look at this evening's forecast...


remind me what season it is again? pretty sure we've somehow hit all of them this month.

I'm going to make the bold and totally serious prediction that by 2030 there will be a spring with legit snowfall (even if just half an inch) in May up here

in the going-on 4 years that I've been up here it's a semi-joke about snow in April because one spring we did have a pretty decent, like 6 inches or so, snowfall that month

which is ridiculous but hey, global warming :|

seriously tho, I had to turn the heat back on today and will probably be turning the electric fireplace on downstairs when I get home. this steady rain is not helping with the chill

It hasn't been yo-yoing too much here, but it took a weirdly long time to warm up. I was going to buy some plants for my pond that they usually start selling at the start of May, but I still haven't done it because it's only now actually being consistently warm.

cricketussy : I hear that, a bunch of my mom's plants didn't survive the unexpected late freeze here a couple weeks ago. they were even covered in a little (cheap) "greenhouse" but it just got too cold too many nights
