RSOTRP? Vyng's still in a platonic marriage with his best friend, who thinks he's boyfriends with Adam & Shiro. He and Qrow are kinda friends again after their messy fling in November (though things aren't quite the same). And as much as Vyng would like to get some, most of his CR is either off-limits or not interested THE END
Because he's genuinely happy with what they've got, and is comfortable with this kinda, like....fuzzy, ambiguous "he's my friend/brother/boyfriend/everything" dynamic they've got going
Tuck would probably be a nervous wreck (assuming he didn't get drunk first to make himself relax), and Vyng would have to keep reassuring him that he's doing fine
BIG DAD ENERGY
: I MEAN he's not wrong. functionally, they're spouses to one another. TUCK realized this about their relationship by the end of season 2, and was like "I would tear the world down for this man"
goddd, it's heartbreaking to see him when they're separated. he goes from "I'm A cRoCOdiLE!! GIMME A KISS" to just......extremely quiet and somber because he's so traumatized by it
it's really good development for him, because that's when he starts becoming more grounded and a "responsible" family man (or, at least, his version of responsible)
but one thing I love about their dynamic, is that Tuck (this gargantuan giant of a man who's 7-feet tall and 5-feet wide) considers Vyng the stronger one
which adds another facet to him feeling so protective, because it's not paternalistic or condescending or because he doubts Vyng's abilities, it's because Tuck is internally screaming "without him I am SO FUCKED"
so you've got that, combined with his complete and total faith in Vyng. and Vyng's faith in Tuck. and it just...hits a bunch of my buttons, but in a really refreshing way
TECHNICALLY there's the Discord server, but I already dumped a mini-essay on why I love the newest episode so much there, and then mainly got a bunch of heart emojis from people lmao
If you're a fan of Dungeon World (and PBtA games in general), Spout Lore does a phenomenal job of sticking to the "play to find out what happens" ethos
the GM does minimal prep. he mainly shows up with some rough ideas to help move things along, but is fully prepared to toss them out the window if his players come up with something they're excited about
so the result is some truly collaborative gameplay between a group of good RL friends. one of my favorite things is listening to the players go apeshit over each other's ideas. it's such an awesome vibe
Heads up that season 1 Tuck has this batman voice that some people find grating. IT DIDN'T BOTHER ME? but they've gotten feedback from people saying they almost dropped it because of that lmao
(The player had a nasty respiratory infection at the time, so he just leaned into how fucked it up it made his voice. It mostly disappears somewhere in season 2, iirc)
