yeah thats part of what appealed me to them! apparently it's a big retro thing? lots of people have been doing it to their sunglasses (or buying premade ones) on tiktok but all I could think was how much mroe comfortable these would be
somewhat! there's actually a lot of tension against the ears themselves. not "a lot" as in it feels heavy, but as in even when i remove the ornaments, the placement behind the ears does a lot to keep them in place
the ornaments sort of supplement that so i can also move around/look down without the chain slipping, but most of the glasses staying on regularly is just in the light tension behind the ear
now i also had it easy because my frames were almost perfectly made for attaching chains to? but other glasses can sometimes require more hardware involved
OKAY SO SOMETHING I HAVE NOTICED / am noticing is that at times it does irritate a nerve behind one of my ears that can sometimes be irritated by regular glasses arms too so i'll probably be wrapping part of the wire with embroidery floss so it's softer behind my ears :Ia
YEAH... it is very rare that it ever hits that nerve but i think the specific way i was tilting my head while we were in our tent hit it and so i was like oh no
oh no
