I'm going to clean up Gortys' storyline, have her turn over her keys to the cybernetic facility and head out a bit before June. She's going to do just fine, her project to establish a colony for robots and humans to co-exist is taking fruition, and she wants to stop messing around and get it done.
The other one I'm going to let go of is Hux which kills me inside because of his warden deal being so important to him, but I don't think he can get the GM graduated in a timely manner and he's really treading water. He's done his best but he's very tired and it's showing

for the close CR. I can have him wrap up his affairs and start figuring out how to go home a failure / war criminal but hey that's Star Wars for you
Nadja I want to try and pair up with someone she hates because she's weirdly good at hating people, then getting them as inmates, then changing her worldview completely to be all "protect this babe at all costs"
I'm caught up on tags through beginning of May but I dropped tags before that, just so I could start June afresh and try to dig into this event properly since I have a bad habit of backtagging for forever
Like, I can keep going with him for forever, but it's not fun and I think it'll start to bleed into other people and make you guys not have fun either. RP is weirdly symbiotic like that
I don't think it's anybody's fault, it's more like life happening a lot. I'm not around as much for tags, weather's getting nicer, I'm fully vaxxed, I'm going in for surgery, school's going to start again and my oldest characters have been here for a long time. Sometimes they just run their course and you have to put 'em away for a time
William will be disappointed gortys is opting to LIVE HER STUPID DREAM instead of self actualizing like a non-coward, but I will miss her, I've had so much fun with them
there's a lot of him that's not going to budge toward something wholly human in terms of what "reformed" would mean, because he's just who he is. But the right nudge will click and at least send him in the right direction.
I mean, I can hang out for a few months with him, but if you're looking at something longer than 2 months, I think it's better to have Hux realize he's not going to be able to get this done and make sure the GM is squared away before he's disappeared. I don't want to rush you to graduate someone you don't feel is ready!
because my steam's going too, and some of these lessons, given how things are going with his general circle of CR, there's no reason NOT to have things click

: Okay, sounds like we're in the same boat then. I'll do a thing for Hux reaching out going like "all right I'm trying everything I can think of, nothing's working, I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't transfer wardenship over to a more capable person"
and while he's been vehemently against anything that could be misconstrued too easily as palling around he has at the very least stopped being antagonistic
"Oh kriffing hell, no."
"Thank the Force. Ok, carry on."
