So the news about season 3 is not super great

Apparently Dana took her break from Twitter to deal with this, but Disney decided that instead of giving Owl House a full season 3 (20 22 minute episodes) as planned, it instead is only giving Dana 3 44 min "specials", and that will be the end of the Owl House

It's not Disney hating its own TV shows, they'll give their LA shows four or five seasons. it's them hating cartoons specifically

Apparently they ALL think that audiences only have short attention spans. Saturday morning cartoons - jeez, MiB was 13 eps 1st season, 6 eps 2nd season, 3 3rd season, and pretty close to unwatchable by then anyway. There's no respect.

The suits think cartoons = electronic babysitter, no matter what the creators have in mind. MiB's 1st season (again) had fantastic storytelling for such a short format!
