I was actually really comfortable this last year because I felt like people were actually washing their hands and staying home when they were sick and stuff

now I'm a nervous wreck because the world is going back to the way it was and everything's gonna be contaminated again

as far as that's concerned, yeah. the pandemic made me realize just how many people weren't... washing their hands

Yeah it was really nice living in a world where people cared as much as I do for a moment (even though my thinking is totally disordered)

I mean, the fact that I was kinda enjoying a GLOBAL PANDEMIC for a little while because it actually decreased a lot of my anxieties should make that super fuckin' clear

my ocd isnt germ based, but all the cleaning and worries about hygeine sure as hell didnt hurt

part of it was that it's now socially acceptable with wear a mask and gloves out, which I wish I could do 24/7, and now I've been indulging my disorder for a year now and I don't want to stop doing it

somewhat related, the fact we were all on lockdown meant that services had to be creative to things like telehealth appointments started which was great for people like me who are disabled and cant always travel to somewhere

i'm still gonna wear my mask, fuck what the cdc says. i always used hand sanitizer before because LOL LIVING IN NYC but they will pull my mask from my cold dead clean hands

I have to admit I did like driving to my therapist every week instead of seeing her in my bedroom now, but I have a stupid easy life where I consider a car drive to be a fun little break most of the time

man if i had a car, i would take drives for fun. unfortunately i had to juggle with public trans and i was like NOPE NOT DURING THIS PANASONIC. so i've been taking Lyfts
