so in a sort of "coda" to our world-saving combat, a party member sacrificed themselves to save the world, and now we're in mop-up territory. I've been stewing about that for 2 weeks, particularly how my character was ready to give their life for the cause... but he hesitated and missed the sign that it was time.

So he's gonna be processing insane amounts of survivor guilt in the post-game... but in the now, it's time to put down the BBEG.

but, as for the now! I've been watching some older anime, and ran through Gun Gale Online, a relatively cute side-story to Sword Art Online.

I kind of liked the end credits music, so I decided to look up the full version, with translated lyrics (because Netflix doesn't like to convert those, thanks). And... yeah, wow... total feels hit, when you finally learn that they're all about things like:
