I think you're confusing transhumanism with evolving into a being of pure energy. In transhumanism, you can still eat pizza, or at least have the experience of eating pizza, but you can optionally do it with several mouths or non-mouth body parts, or from the point of view of multiple forks of yourself simultaneously, or you can be the pizza.
