Character Mothers, mostly headcanon

Sherlock headcanon his mother's name is Genevieve, though people love using Violet for her, and that she's Scottish/French (we do know Sherlock's least quarter french from his mother's side). He inherited his observational abilities from her - never got away with Anything because she finds out instantly.

Not exactly well-suited or happy in the life of a housewife, and actually got better when their father died and she took over managing the family estate so Mycroft and Sherlock can keep their careers

probably someone that we would say suffer from clinical depression now, the Holmes marriage wasn't bad just there's no real affection between the two. But Sherlock picked up a few Scottish turns from phrase from her (Bonny, Pawky, etc)

Ky again headcanon, we just know she's dead, a non-canon gaiden manga has her losing hold of him while escaping in a crowd, HC name is Nadine, and a single mother in a pretty horrid time, she wasn't much different from other refugees fleeing Gears
