Nice crosswalk. But why would anyone want to cross the road there (chickens or humans )? Happy Friday!!!

Good morning It looks like it's going to be a baseball field and/or concert venue, so the crosswalk may lead from one seating section to another?

heylisa : It’s definitely a concert venue. But there isn’t anything across the road, although it’s possible that they intend to put parking or restrooms over there. We’ve been watching them build the venue (and rebuild the road) for a year and a half or so, and it seems a little odd that they would make a venue that could seat a couple of thousand people...

...with no restrooms or parking. This is what it looked like prior to construction (October 2019).

It does raise questions. The crosswalk has definitely been specially designed for that spot.

Not much there. The construction at the far end appears to be a settling pond for muck dredged out of the creek that runs along the edge of the field opposite the road. Hard to see in the photos, but I keep a decent set of binoculars in my desk.
