I mean I've gotten shit benefits for the last few jobs I had but I was also working for like, two person nonprofits so I get that. STILL it's maddening that this is all we're "worth." (I don't blame the NPs, they were doing the best they could with the money they could get, it's a structural thing)

The question was "can do you your duties as assigned" and like, yes I have had jobs where it would have been impossible without a car.

I didn't think so either until I had a (former) placement agency/recruiter tell me that's what it was about as often as not

so you know where they're coming from, and based on location how likely it is that they'll walk off the job etc.
