[Gloomhaven] Does anybody play this and if so how well do you follow the rules

I do! My SO is a stickler for rules, so we follow them pretty closely. Buuuut if he gets too frustrated, the rules will be bent, lol

see we do our level best but like

one of our players is on a thing with like, he comes over after his kid falls asleep which means technically we have all night but also he is not used to staying up more than two hours later than that

and two hours is enough for most scenarios provided that we don't spend too much time on distractions such as, say, clarifying how specific rules work XD;

Ah, yeah, makes sense. I get very impatient when SO goes back to look at the rules. I'd rather just wing the parts we forget or don't quite get.
