when I say this I don't mean "this song is bad" so much as "this song is just hilariously unsuited to most of these characters" but god Izumi is really just the voice equivalent of a person who can make a trash bag look good
I was wondering how they would handle editing a duet with ppl from two different units but they just put the knights instrumental on top of the Valkyrie instrumental and it worked out fine
Thank you for linking these! Takahashi Hiroki proving why he's so powerful. I will never forget that he spent a good chunk of his career singing high pitched and bouncy now
in particular I was thinking about how other than Valkyrie ppl don't really play around like they did in Brand New Stars (uchuu) but on the flip side there's actually a lot of variation/clashing in the sense of like
the Izumi/Leo duet edit doesn't work for me at all even tho both of their solos are both good bc they're playing to super different moods and it doesn't mesh well (probably a full knights lineup would circle around to being good again tho since it'd meld together eventually)
I do feel like my music sense/ear randomly jumped up to a way higher level in the past 8 months for some bizarre reason so it is also possible that people's BNS covers ALSO were more like this in pushing the song towards completely different genres depending on whose covering you listen to and I just couldn't hear it as well then
